These pipes are also known as ASTM A403 WP 304 Stainless Steel Pipe have excellent weldability; hence it is a versatile alloy for manufacturing. ASTM A403 WP 304 Stainless Steel Pipe are made for high-temperature applications. These pipes are made of chromium, molybdenum, and nickel, which are most commonly found in the chemical composition of these alloys. The alloy also includes vanadium, platinum, tungsten, etc., for extra moldability and toughness. The carbon content is relatively lower than other alloys. It is very favorable for its usefulness in the printing and textile industries.
WP 304 ASTM A403 Stainless Steel Pipe have good weldability, strength, durability, low maintenance, etc. These UNS S30400 pipes are made for complex application with good heat resistance. The melting point of this alloy is 1400° C, which makes it applicable in moderate/high heat applications.
304 Stainless Steel welded Pipe sizes start from ½ inches to 48 inches. The tensile strength of the alloy is 515 Mpa, whereas the yield strength is 205 Mpa. It also has good thermal conductivity and creeps strength. ASTM A403 WP 304 Stainless Steel Pipe has magnetic and non-magnetic properties; it is also highly resistant to general corrosion, crevice corrosion, oxidation, erosion, and stress corrosion properties.
