Monel K500 is an age hardenable nickel-copper alloy that together offers high corrosion resistance in different environments.  K500 combines with the alloy 400 to provide increased resistance against erosion and high strength fatigue corrosion. Including Nickel and Copper, it also has aluminium and titanium that are responsible for the precipitation hardening. Monel K500 sustains enhanced resistance and strength after precipitation hardening when compared with alloy 400. It has mechanical properties from sub-zero temperatures up to about 480 degrees celsius. The corrosion resistance of K500 alloy is extensive across the marine and chemical environments and even against pure-water or oxidized water. Alloy K500 is available in different diameters, notably 3/8"-2-1/2" diameter cold drawn, annealed, and aged, and 2-3/4"-10" diameter hot-finished and aged. Material can be sent in a variety of lengths, can be cut to order, or can be machined to your specifications. Drilling, turning, tapping, threading, CNC forms, flanges, and other machining operations are included.

Monel K500 is the nickel-copper alloys grouped to offer various good properties such as good corrosion resistance and excellent weldability. The application includes the monel k500 alloy, propeller, pump shafts, oil industries, paper and pulp equipment, drilling towers, impellers, and valve components.
